Educational Qualifications (Essential):

• Post-graduate degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in Economics / Sociology / Geography / Planning, OR

• Post-graduate degree / diploma in Urban & Regional Planning from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).

Desirable Qualifications:

• M.Phil. / Ph.D. in the above subjects.

• Published work in reputed journals.

• Professional qualifications / associate membership (e.g., ITPI or similar).

• Computer skills.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of research experience in relevant field at pay level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500) of the 7th CPC.

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 35 years.

• Maximum: 45 years.

• Age relaxation of 5 years for Scheduled Caste candidates.

Other Conditions:

• Candidates employed in Government / Semi-Government / PSU / Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel or furnish No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.

• CV must state date of birth, full academic qualifications, and years of relevant experience.

• Date for determining age/eligibility is the closing date for receipt of applications.

Pay Scale: Level 11 — ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 (7th CPC)
