About the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA):

Established in 1976, the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) is a premier institute of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, for research and capacity building for the urban sector in India.  Prime Minister Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi), is a flagship scheme of MoHUA launched in June 2020 to facilitate special micro credit to the urban street vendors. Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) (https://www.sidbi.in/enis) is the implementing agency of MoHUA for this scheme.  SIDBI has set up a Project Management Unit (PMU) to provide focused support for the implementation of PM SVANidhi Scheme. The objective is to manage, coordinate, and monitor the PM SVANidhi by providing programmatic support to the MoHUA/ SIDBI efficiently and effectively. The PMU would operate under the over supervision of MoHUA and SIDBI.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. To work closely with Banks/ States/ ULB’s/DPA’s for achieving 100% digital onboarding and training.
  2. Developing innovative strategies for enhancement of digital penetration amongst scheme beneficiaries.
  3. Developing regular reports for various levels of stakeholders.
  4. Any other task assigned by MoHUA.

Qualifications:

  1. MBA/BE/B.Tech

Experience:

  1. Minimum 6 Years of experience with 4 years of experience working with Digital Payment Aggregators / DIGITAL BANKING.
  2. Preferable experience in working on projects in Public sector domain or with public sector domain or public sector clients/Banks.
  3. Should have excellent communication skills.

At par with the industry standards, depending on experience and skills. Proof of past remuneration (last received salary/monthly contract payment) would be required.
